St. Stephen’s Catholic School offers a caring Christian community that nourishes spiritual development and academic excellence. Located in downtown Anoka, MN, we are an accredited, private school that has been a part of the community for over 130 years. We have a safe and secure environment where the students’ safety is our number one priority.
Get your kids started in a great Preschool
Academic success starts in preschool with our faith-based education. Starting in preschool, our students take part in a weekly Spanish lesson. Our Elementary School consists of Kindergarten through fifth grade. We have two classrooms at each grade level, with a maximum of 26 students in each class (52 total per grade). Students in Elementary School are taught their core classes (Religion, Math, Reading, Social Studies, Science and Word Study), by their homeroom teacher. The encore classes (Art, Music, Physical Education, Spanish, Media and Technology), are taught by specialist teachers.
Give them a quality Middle School Experience
Our Middle School consists of sixth through eighth grade, with a maximum of 52 students per grade. Core classes are taught everyday and consist of: Religion, Math, Literature, Social Studies, and Science. Encore classes are taught everyday for half of the school year and consist of: Art, Music, Physical Education, and Spanish. The Media Center and Computer Lab are available to all middle school students during designated times. St. Stephen’s School also has iPad Air’s, iPads and Netbooks available for teachers to incorporate into their teaching/classroom. Middle School students also have an Advisory class each morning.
